People need to accept that not all “cliches” are bad. People still like stuff like forbidden love stories, underdogs winning, and the dog biting back. The term cliche is negative, produces an image of all that is trite and boring, but actual cliches can be very good. Storytelling is built on cliches after all.
It’s not the cliche but how it is utilized by the author.

ahhhhh- any help would be totally fantastic!
although I mainly need help because Shin’s the type of character that I have the most trouble with (almost totally stoic guy, who doesn’t mince his words, and is 100% obsessed with football)
so I’m still writing that shin/sena thing (it broke 4000 words a few minutes ago, and at the rate that it’s progressing I can see it clearing 8000 too
maybe even 10,000
so anyway, does anyone who knows about E21 wanna do me a favor and help me look over the damn thing when it’s done?
